In queste fasi, e per i primi due anni è bene tenere il terriccio sempre abbastanza umido, ho notato che la siccità nelle prime fasi giovanili non è per nulla tollerata. Da quanto mi è stato detto, anche il trapianto è consigliabile farlo soltanto dopo i primi due anni e possibilmente in piena terra.
Ora non so cosa potrebbe accadere in questo vascone nell'arco di due anni qualora buona parte delle piante sopravviverà, staremo a vedere...
Per ora non mi resta altro che mantenere il terreno umido e garantigli una buona posizione soleggiata.

With a wing span of approx. 55 mm, the oak beauty is one of the largest Geometridae among night moths. It is already early in the year on the way and already in March one can discover it at the light. It flies in one generation until the end of May and its habitat is mixed deciduous forests with older trees. The caterpillars feed on many different deciduous trees until summer. It pupates in the soil and the pupa hibernates. The butterfly is still numerously represented and a regular guest at the light.
