Always late to the party... as usual but, I do have an excuse for that. Although I knew about the *World's Bike Day* and had a bunch of pics with two of my recent bikes, I haven't posted anything yesterday about em, because I already had three posts on your feed and don't want to become an abuser.
Hence I'm doing it today, and I'm doing it good. A bit of history with me and my bikes, as a celebration for one of the most joyous and useful vehicle in the world, first of all. I learned how to ride a bike when I was about eight, a bit late but never too late, and had my first one a few months later.
It was actually my mother's bike, the one that she used when she was a teenager, and the one that she rode when met my father. It was a Pegasus, having a chopper design, and I had that for about one-two years, and after I got bored with it I decided to buy myself my first mountain bike. Out of my own money...

*The model of my first bike. I had it in orange*
The mountain one was a Chinese one but, it worked well and had it at my grandma's house for about 7-8 years. After I moved from my hometown and was sure I won't use it any longer I decided to donate it, and while being in college, and a few years after, I had absolutely no bike. Not too much of a bike fanatic one could say but, still bikes had a place in my heart.
In 2017, after quite some years, while living in Norway I bought myself another one, a GIANT, that was some sort of a mountain one, rocking not so proper tires to get it off-road but, on trails such as the one in the first pic, it *behaved more than decent*. This bike took me on many paths around the Norwegian fjords in the vicinity of Oslo and loved my time spent on it.

Unfortunately after I moved back home couldn't take it with me so I had to sell it. I managed to pass it over to a rich Norwegian at the same price I bought, so the deal was not bad at all but, I still miss it and would have been nice to be able to bring it home.
Second after it, it came a sort of a mountain one, that I got from a friend, which now is in really terrible shape and it kinda takes the room in the garage for nothing. It was of use for a while, until I got this speed one.

My last one, and the first speed bike that I ever owned, which was gifted to me, and it took me a bit of time to get used with the standing position on it, the handle bar and being feather light. That didn't took me too long though, and I still use it once in a while. Even today I rode it downtown, and would spend more time on it but...
...I'm having some back problems and it's not recommended to ride bikes. I am taking that into consideration and jump on it only once in a while but, still can't stay away from it for too long when the weather is good.

So, that was pretty much my history with bikes and my celebration post on Hive for this marvelous human invention. Hope you didn't got bored about it, and waiting to read *your story on two wheels*. I even wanna challenge @toofasteddie to make a post about his bike history, as my intuition tells me he has a good one.
Runners ride bikes, although not all of them admit it. What about you guys, what's your favorite bike and how was your first experience ridding one?
**Thanks for attention,**
