What was 2019 like? Honestly... it was way better than 2020 thus far and you probably have all the clues in the world to know why. We could get out and stay out, for as long as we pleased, we could travel, work and do whatever we liked to. It was like it couldn't get any better. 2020 was supposed to be better, according to my intuition, but it disappointed me and I have nothing at hand to change that. 

I am writing this post because I promised @bozz I will do that, when I commented on his #remembering2019 related one, and promised I will use the tag as well for mine, so here I am. To have a glimpse of how my area and life looked this time around, last year, I chose 9 pics, mostly with flowers and nature, on a time frame of two weeks.

I don't have honestly a collection of pics with just this particularly day and it would not be me if I would post just one pic. I really want to make the scene as live as possible, and as you can see in the first pic, the restaurants were open back then, although not full as they will after the pandemic is over.

From what I remember there was just I and a couple of friends over there, but we had good talks, laughs and quite nice vibes around. This time around though everything is closed and the most traffic that you get on the streets is between 11 and 13 when elderly people are allowed to get out.

It was quite warm back then as well, and I doubt there were high temperature difference in comparison with what we have now. Nature was blossoming and I remember ridding the bike a lot. It was not daily, but I was on it every three other days, and had way more physical activity than now. 

Now even if I could get out as much as I wish, I would probably won't ride it anymore because it's not good for my back, but I had a lot of fun with it last year and appreciate that. I don't know if it's me staying inside too much, but I have the feeling we had more flowers than we have nowadays.

Having that many flower pics in this post I could call it a flowers photo shoot, but it's actually because during that time I really wasn't traveling at all, and didn't had other more attractive activities to save them in my gallery.. so I can post them today :). At least I was able to go out and stay out for as long as I liked to. 

Oh, and the cat. She was living at a monastery near by and I used to ride the bike quite often over there, really enjoying the hill climb. She was very cute and friendly and I guess she would play the whole day if there were more like me doing that, and a good model for the camera.
