I'm not a seer. If I'm one, I would have stated only one club, the particular one that will win. I should have used "might", but I used "will" in my title because I'm certain one of the teams in this post will lift the trophy. I have my reasons though, and I believe you will agree with me if you see them. I might be biased in my picks, but trust me, this trophy is now locating only the great teams. Gone are those days when the underdogs wins it. If you don't have what it takes to win, just try harder the following year. Before I proceed, I'll like to strike out the defending champions, Liverpool. Yes, they have everything it takes to retain it. The team is getting stronger and the coach is getting better at his job. They will be a stronger contender; I just don't think they will win it back to back like Real Madrid did. A lot of attention are on them now, and every team will want to do everything it takes to take them down. Enough reasons to rule them out? No? I guess we will find out, won't we?
Now to the list of teams I have in mind. I'm tipping just four teams. Yes, just four. In fact, I hope these four teams meet in the semi finals; they could if they won't meet in the quarter final or round of sixteen. My list is arranged based on who I tipped the most.
<h4>*Manchester City*</h4>

I've seen people give reasons why this great team can't win a champions league trophy. I just hope I'm not the only one seeing what they are capable of doing. Well, Manchester City had tried to win it several times and the highest stage they've reached is the semi final. Real Madrid defeated them then. Ever since Guardiola got into the team, the English sides he defeats in EPL end up kicking him out of the tournament. Their last exit was shocking, but they were great contenders. Nobody expected Tottenham to play in the champions league final, so why would anyone doubt Man City of doing the same?
Okay, they've achieved everything in English football already. Guardiola has broken every record that needed to be broken and the only thing left to achieve right now is the champions league trophy. He tried with Bayern Munich and failed. This is his third time in Manchester City and it might be his last. Klopp never stopped trying and he finally won it last season. It was Klopp's time, I believe Guardiola's turn is next.

Hey, don't bite me yet. I'm not picking them because I'm a big fan. You all will agree with me that they are big contenders, too. Every year, Barcelona is always in the list of favorites to win the trophy. Since they won it in 2015, they've been striving hard to win it again. Atletico Madrid kicked them out first; Juventus did the same the following season. Roma and Liverpool did the unthinkable by coming back from a first leg defeat to kick them out.
Valverde has been winning the Spanish league since he came into the team. The team needs one thing badly now, the champions league trophy. The numerous signings they did this summer are not for nothing, I guess. In fact, they are getting used to win the league. The team needs something more. They want to keep their fans happy because of the awful second leg performance against Liverpool. That costed them a lot, and I'm thinking they will amend their ways this season. If Manchester City didn't win this, Barcelona should be your next focus.
<h4>*Bayern Munich*</h4>

Don't be surprised to find them on my list. People will say they are not the Bayern Munich we used to know. Well, news flash; I'm tipping them to win the 2019/2020 champions league. Why? Because they are Bayern Munich, the best German team we will ever see. One thing I've learnt is never to underestimate a German team. They might have been performing poorly in Europe this past seasons, but they can't be counted out. If Bayern Munich falls, then a big team made them fall. Who had been defeating them all these while? Most of the times, they are teams that eventually won the trophy. They always give those teams a great fight and they've proven in every stages that they are fearless contenders.
If there's a team we don't expect to win this trophy, it's definitely Bayern Munich. It's another team hoping to win it after a very long time. The trophy has rested in Spain and England, perhaps, it's time to move to Germany.

A lot of people are tipping them to win it already. They did the same (tip them) last season, and I've argued why they can't. Ronaldo alone can't do it. Juventus had no specific game plan last season. They were just a team with a world class player amidst them. Now that they have Sarri, things might change. Sarri isn't the only addition to the team, De Ligt and Rabiot were brought in, too. Is this enough for them to win this prestigious trophy? No? I'd say yes! If the three teams I listed above didn't win the trophy, then they must have been defeated by Juventus. I can't remember the last time they left the tournament in the round of sixteen. They always made it to at least the quarter finals. They've been great contenders for a very long time and would be one this season, especially now that they have Ronaldo, the king of champions league.

These four teams wants one thing badly this season, and it's the champions league trophy. All of them have won their local leagues. They should be tired already. We all know one thing they have in mind. One one of them will definitely get it this season. No space for the underdogs.
If your team isn't on this list, I don't know what to say. They should prepare harder another time or try hard to win other trophies.
Don't take me too serious. It's just a prediction.
