Lately I have often noticed some jokes on several Indonesian TV channels. One face that often appears is Indonesian superstar: Jojon. Or maybe more precisely I call Mr. Jojon, given the age he is certainly not young anymore. Still with its distinctive style: **Charlie Chaplin-style mustache, and the oversized trousers lifted up to the stomach. And of course it's still funny.**

I can't think of it. Jojon was present to entertain us since I was in elementary school until now my children have gone to elementary school. Jojon at that time was popular after Bagyo cs. One of the other comedy superstars. In fact, the two groups had a "duel meet" by appearing on stage. During its heyday, Jojon cs was eagerly awaiting its appearance on TVRI's screen, the only channel at that time. Like a special dish, at that time TVRI usually Jojon cs was also presented at special moments, for example during the "lebaran stage". One of the typical chants that viewers were very fond of at the time was how Jojon and Cahyono called each other.

What Jojon showed was persistence and dedication to such extraordinary work. At his age that is not young anymore, his energy in work is difficult to match his juniors. During Ramadan alone, I noticed that Jojon performed live on two different channels, before opening and before the dawn. Jojon, which I have witnessed now, is still the same as Jojon, who appeared as a comedian who is aware of his duty to be funny. Including physical "harassment" tricks that his juniors did to Jojon.

This is different from some of the current generation comedians who, when they are successful, no longer want to be called comedians. In fact there are those who may be uncomfortable as comedians, calling themselves "laughing entrepreneurs". Lulled in a false "professional" style, with the complexity of offices, secretaries, management teams and so on. The comedian who had to be joking was finally trapped in the executive attribute, with suits always appearing as company executives. And it's not funny anymore. Maybe forget about the creative work that must be done: joking. Even though comedians are professions like other professions such as doctors, engineers or lawyers. His task was clear: to bring humor to his customers.
