İnternet sitesindeki  makalenin fotoğrafında paranın nakitten kartlara dönüştüğü sürecin son aşamasında mobil cüzdanlar ile Bitcoin beraber yer aldı. Yayınlanan makalede ise dijital devrimin insanların çalışma ve etkileşim şeklini uzun süredir değiştirdiği, geçmiş dönemin finansal modellerin yeni dönem dijital devrimi benimsedikleri ve bu devrime uyumlu oldukları belirtildi.

Öte yandan Uluslararası Para Fonu'nun  Başkanı olan Christine Lagarde da geçtiğimiz ay kaleme aldığı bir yazısında Bitcoin‘in arkasında yatan teknolojik sistemi kullanarak inşa edilen bazı araçların işlem ve işlemcileri daha hızlı, daha az maliyetli ve daha çok güvenli hale getirerek finans sektöründe devrim yapabilme  potansiyeline sahip olduğunu ifade etmişti.Christine Lagarde’a göre Bitcoin ve diğer birçok dijital para birimlerinin daha çok ilerlemesi, kaçınılmaz kazaların gerçekleşmesi ihtimaline karşılık küresel finansal sistemi daha güvenli hale getirebilir.
