Although on the weekends I have considered reducing the use of the PC, I could not stand the temptation, and I have colored this portrait that I did.

I used a watercolor paper. It is a sheet I had among my work materials. However, in practice I have noticed that it is not of very good quality, the water made some unpleasant spots. After trying watercolor on that paper and feeling disappointed I decided to photograph the drawing and paint it digitally.

I feel much more comfortable with the way it looks, colors and shadows, like the lights on her face, make it more expressive. The gray color in the background highlights the portrait.

Hola amigos de Steemit

Aunque los fines de semana me he planteado reducir el uso de la pc, no pude aguantar la tentación, y he coloreado este retrato que hice.

Utilicé papel de acuarelas. Es un papel que tenía entre mis materiales de trabajo. sin embargo, en la práctica he notado que no es de muy buena calidad, el agua hacía que salieran unas desagradables manchas. Luego de probar la acuarela en ese papel y sentirme defraudada decidí fotografiar el dibujo y pintarlo digitalmente.

Me siento mucho más cómoda con la manera como se vé, los colores y las sombras, al igual que las luces en su rostro, hacen que sea más expresivo. El color gris en el fondo resalta el retrato

Espero que lo disfruten.
