This is interesting. And frightening for some reason. I feel neurons have been stolen from me now. I often hear about people (mostly women, actually) using music for all sorts of reasons: in the gym, while they work, etc. But I never used music for any other reason than music! Using it while I write would be distracting, using it while I'm gymming would be wasteful. Oh I do actually use it when I'm driving, but that's a highly automatic activity most of the time.

Hihihi :D Stolen :) Not all music is good for my writing, most of it is distracting. It is the same with exercise and relaxation. I needed to find what works best for me and I have found that when it comes to studying, working or writing it needs to be instrumental with no vocals and Mozart works the best. Give it try ;)
