“Private Cox, Private Trix let’s go. It seems being around this Alienbutt may be fun after all, all praise to Sung for uniting us with our missing brother,” the chaplain said happily.
 The cover slid back on Alienbutt’s arm to reveal the small display screen.

 IS IT TIME TO BLOW THINGS UP?   

“Soon. Now remember, no shooting until I tell you and hold off on your shock trooper mode,” Alienbutt said before looking over to the chaplain who was giving him a strange look. “My smartchip, he’s getting a little excited.”
The chaplain didn’t seem confident in Alienbutt’s reply. 
“I’ll send Sergeant Edion and his squad to find you once they’ve secured the third holding area and started moving the prisoners back here. By then, if you haven’t found anything, it will be time to fall behind the perimeter and start our withdrawal,” Major Kaela said, turning away to return to the marines seeing the prisoners through the hyper-jump. “Come on you lot, we need to speed this up, I don’t want to be here still when our fleet turns up and starts dropping bombs on us."

Alienbutt walked out of the giant hangar that was being used as the holding area; the Flakes followed him. He looked around before quickly walking off to his left.
 “Let’s try this way, there looks to be some sort of tower over there,” Alienbutt said as he set off. When they reached the edge of the building that held the prisoners, they came to a crossroad. All around them were large faceless buildings made of concrete. Alienbutt headed straight over and continued on. 
“What does the site plan say are in these buildings?” Alienbutt asked Private Trix.
 “This area around where the prisoners are kept is all for storage units. Our scouts checked them and report they hold metal ore and the like for the refinery further over,” Trix answered.
He marched down between the two large buildings and headed towards a collection of cooling towers he could see looming over the area. Coming to another crossroad, Alienbutt paused to look up and down the street that cut across the way they were headed. He continued straight on again. Behind him the Flakes followed and he could just hear Private Trix mumbling a prayer; surprised that he recognised it, he joined in the last line. 
“Blessed are the fools, for only by being foolish can we find the truth in the Holy Llama,” Alienbutt said, finishing the prayer learned during his childhood. 
As he approached the corner at the end of the street, he stopped walking. 
“We need to get to those cooling towers, they look like a good place to gain a little height so we can look around.” 
“What’s that noise?” Private Cox asked suddenly. 
“Ship engines?” Private Trix asked, concentrating on the distant sound. All four stood listening and could hear the faint sound of engines but down amongst the buildings, the noise was muffled and they couldn’t work out where it was coming from.
“We need to get onto a roof to work out where they are,” Alienbutt said and set off running.
 He reached the end of the street and ran around the corner, only to stop dead in his tracks. Chaplain Frost and the two privates almost ran into him, but their comments went unsaid as they looked down the street ahead.
 “I think this proves the trap theory,” Chaplain Frost said as he looked at the rows of silver armoured cyborgs arranged to block their path.
 Alienbutt nodded and took a half step backwards. “I was hoping we were being paranoid about the trap thing.” 
“Me too. Cox how about you fire a few grenades from that bloody big rifle of yours and then we leg it?” The chaplain said.
 Private Cox brought her rifle to bear and started launching grenades into the ranks of cyborgs. As explosions ripped through the front ranks and threw the armoured bodies backwards, the four turned and ran back around the corner.
