Digitization is a wave sweeping the global sphere of life. With the advent of the internet, the world is gradually being transformed into one small global village where everyone (and very soon, everything) is connected by one way or the other. Accessibility problem is gradually becoming a thing of the past. Digitization is taking further leaps by the attempts of venturing into the concepts of smart cities as well as the Internet of Things (IoT). The Cyber space gives information unlimited, storage and limitless capabilities and possibilities.

*The Cyber Threat*
With every additional cup of stagnant water fetched, there’s a larger possibility of more micro organisms being acquired and thus, a greater probability of more diseases being contracted. In the same vein, with an ever expanding scope of the internet comes an ever expanding possibility of threats and breach in security. Cyber threats have grown from just smaller scaled theft of cyber identity to large scale organized hacking and calculated attempts at penetration of security walls and systems incorporated on the World Wide Web. 
The corporate world has been a victim one too many of several organized attempts by individuals of the underworld who work at obtaining unauthorised access to documents and keys belonging to these corporations. Even the seemingly unknown common individual is not left out of the foray of attacks as individuals have been known to be victims of various attacks and theft of personal files. Celebrities have had their social media accounts hacked and personal files obtained and thereafter made available on the web. Users have unknowingly installed malwares through suspicious applications that were obtained from the internet. These unsuspecting users grant access to hackers who remotely gain access and move to take over control of user files. This epidemic has grown to an overwhelming daring level in which files are obtained from corporations and individuals and held hostage until victim pay ransoms of varying degrees. This is the challenge being posed by the new RansomWare attack. 

*Uncloaking the Threats and Proffering a Sustainable Solution* 
Several solutions at conclusively eliminating cyber threats have been proposed over time, but none has been effective enough to stem the virus. This is usually because attempts fail to recognize that to effectively tackle cyber threats, focus has to go further than merely installing or upgrading antivirus programs, updating firewalls or implementation of smart detection systems for intrusions. 
Using an Artificial Intelligence Technological system, Uncloak seeks to provide a decentralized platform underpinned by the blockchain technology and thus proffer a lasting solution to the menace of cyber threats. Its detection database would be built using its Artificial Intelligence system which would constantly scour the web in search of potential threats within public and private web space. These identified threats would hence be converted into security signatures that would be stored on the system. Next, they are checked for matches amongst clients subscribed to the platform. If a match is spotted, the concerned party is alerted and appropriate action is carried out immediately. 
The Uncloak platform incorporates a community system in which hunters and validators are actively engaged on the platform to do the job of effectively scouring and crawling the web spaces for such potential threats. A combined workforce of a top notch AI technology and experts in the cyber security industry provides a formidable force for the swift and timely identification and subsequent elimination of threats.

*Conclusion*
If users can regain confidence in the web’s security and trust that their files would be safer, there would be better participation on various web-based platforms. The fear and distrust in al things digital would be reduced and in the long run, completely eliminated. Cost of security maintenance would be drastically reduced and thus end users would have better grasp of the security overview of their various systems.
