passage David spoke some wonderful truths about God.
 For example, in verse 3 he said, **But you, Lord, are a shield around me.**
As a shield, God covers his people to protect him. In Ephesians 6:16 it is written
that as believers we should take the shield of faith, and David knew something
 of what he could
 make a shield, because HE used it frequently. Then he said that God was also his glory.
 That is, he believed in the presence of God. Remember that the cloud of glory covered Israel.
It was a visible sign of the presence of God in the midst of his people.
