Um.   Ignore this versian.  

Go see the animated version instead. 

They rewrote the plot to help explain why she's a white character and not Japanese;  it doesn't work. 

There are some moments that I liked but not enough to make me like the movie; and my friends know how much I like robots.

But you can't put pretty around a stripped down story and hope it works;  you need characters and good acting.
