Despite a very tough altcoin market (BTC dominance at an 18-month high of 70.5%), fellow “MimbleWimbleTrinity” coins Grin and Beam have been amongst the best performers.  This, despite the MASSIVE inflation inherent in coins with supply caps of INFINITY and 263 million, dis-respectively.

Putting this investor-killing madness into perspective, Grin has a 100% supply inflation rate; and this year, Beam has 100% inflation, too - that next year, will decline to “just” 50%, or 50 coins PER MINUTE.  

This, compared to the 20 million lifetime cap MWC will have when MainNet launches November 11th; of which, only about eight million will be outstanding at the time of launch - compared to 31 million today for Beam; and in a few hours, 20 million for Grin.  In other words, Beam took just five months to reach the 20 million coins it will take MWC 100 YEARS to reach…and Grin, just eight months.

Keep in mind, six million of the eight million MWC at launch will be the FREE coins distributed via BTC airdrop – with another two million to be distributed via the “MWC HODL” dividend program, whose details will be announced in the coming weeks.  

Thus, all initial holders will be steeply in the black, with heavy incentive to hold.  To that end, Bitcoin Rhodium’s “Strong Hands” in-kind dividend program, which MWC HODL is being modeled after, has been such a powerfully stabilizing force, more than 95% of all XRC held is in Strong Hands wallets (experiencing zero negative balance movements).

As for MimbleWimble technology, it is advancing far faster than I imagined – and frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was fully capable of widespread adoption by the end of next year.  This is just a guess, but I’m close enough to the story to realize how rapid, and dramatic, progress has been - which means, that by this time next year, crypto community recognition of the unfolding MimbleWimble story could start to reach a fever pitch.

To that end, I have to chuckle at how irrational Bitcoin “maximalism” can be at times – like when Max Keiser claims altcoins will never recover, seemingly without qualification or exceptions. To think they believe (as I do) that we are entering a new paradigm in which Bitcoin is worth TRILLIONS of dollars, but NO other cryptocurrencies will have any value, is downright ridiculous.

In such an environment, MANY coins will thrive – many of which, have not yet been launched…but ONLY if they have viable, defensible use cases.  In MWC’s case, not only is it “viable and defensible,” but a THREAT to Bitcoin, given its vastly superior technology.

Not that Bitcoin’s store-of-value dominance will be threatened one bit, mind you – as with or without MimbleWimble, BTC will be the undisputed store-of-value king (which is why, I might add, I re-entered in a HUGE way at the “new Hoffman Line” of $10,000).

However, Bitcoin will be FAR more valuable if it one day incorporates MimbleWimble; though to get there, it will likely require a hard fork - that one day, may cause a heated, contentious debate within the BTC community.  This is why MWC, Grin and Beam will not only be major “technology plays” (with MWC being FAR superior financially), but HEDGES against anything that might occur in the BTC community.  Kind of like holding one’s FREE BCash during the scaling debate – only this time, the superior technology will be in the FREE MWC BTC holders received!

The MWC airdrop registration ended July 19th, with MainNet launch tentatively scheduled for November 11th, 2019, and claims on December 11th, 2019. A total of 148,474 Bitcoin registered – roughly 1% of the entire BTC float - yielding an MWC/BTC ratio of roughly 40.41.
