Tego samego roku zostaje wypuszczony debiutancki album grupy "Pearls of Passion", album odniósł duży sukces w Szwecji. Drugi studyjny album "Look Sharp!" wydany w 1988 roku, odniósł wielki sukces nie tylko w rodzimym kraju, lecz przyniósł grupie międzynarodowy rozgłos. Na albumie znalazła się także ballada "Listen to Your Heart", która dotarła na pierwsze miejsce w USA. Kolejny trzeci krążek "Joyride" wydany w 1991 roku także był wielkim sukcesem, wszystkie single zdobyły bardzo wysokie miejsca na listach przebojów całego świata. Roxette stał się jednym z najbardziej znanych zespołów lat 90'.
