Never lose yourself in the process of loving someone

At some point in our lives, we just realised how stupid we have become in love. We tend to make efforts to let someone know our existence. We try to change ourselves. We try to make ourself look good for someone. We try to do the first move in communicating to that person, but still it was not reciprocated.

But never be ashamed of doing those things. We really do crazy things just to be with someone. At some point we’ve become so desperate that we are already begging for love and affection. We tend to chase them and be obsessed with them.

But one of the best things to happen is when you started waking up from reality. It hurts at first. It really does. It is very rewarding when you started realising that you deserve so much better. When you started realising how fucked up you are for allowing yourself to be treated that way.

When you started to realise your worth as a person. When you realised that you do not need someone’s validation. When you fvcking realised that there’s more to life than be on a one-sided love.

Never lose yourself in the process of loving someone. Never allow yourself to be treated like shit. Never beg for love. Never beg for affection. No one is worth begging for. No one is worth chasing for. You deserve all the happiness. At the right time, everything will fall in its right places.

Everyone deserves to be loved in this world. But, changing your entire self for someone who doesn't seem to care much about you is pointless. Because in the reality you will be doing things you would normally not do, and pretending to be someone you are not. Even, if you do manage to get their attention you are only setting yourself up for a life of pretending. 

Yes, you should make sacrifices, but not so much that you forget who you truly are. Be yourself always, and the right person will find you. :)
