Follow me back in time and find out about the Traditional Chinese Diet, more than 2.000 years old.

I swear you will be amazed by the wisdom it contains. Wisdom about us, our nature and nature as a whole.

By transforming this theoretical wisdom into reality you may get in touch with your true needs again, become healthier and more ressourcefull towards your body's needs.

Basics of the Traditional Chinese
Medicine

The Traditional Chinese Medicine is based upon three pillars: pharmaceutical knowledge, akupuncture, moxibustion, Qigong, the art of massage Tuina aswell as the dietician knowledge.

In the following text I an only adressing the dietician knowledge.

🍜

Die Fünf-Elemente-Ernährung ist KEIN TREND, sondern eine TRADITION. 🎎

⏳

The Five Element Diet is NO TREND, but a
TRADITION.
🎎

The great thing about the five-element-diet is, that she regards food as a medicine and is not part of a trend. As philosophical knowledge, her knowledge will be still acurate and effective in 1.000 years.
</div

⏳

Dietician knowledge belongs to the second pillar of the Traditionel Chinese Medicine.

It is based on five elements, each having a certain function but are also in an interdependant relationship towards each other. For example the element metal is assigned to forming and hardening aswell as the hot an spicy taste.

https://i.imgur.com/VKtMmq8.jpg

↺

Cooking and living in the circle of live

The elements are organized in a circle, wherein each element

controls one of the others,

represents a certain season,

is assigned to a body organ and

generates one of the other elements in a constant cycle(wood – fire – earth – metal – water).

↺

Lamm).

In an ideal case, that would be a healty human, the balance of power between the inner organs is even. We may support the balanca by trying to "stay in the middle" with our diet.

We may achieve this by respecting the thermic effect of food in our cooking and arranginng it in a way so that they in total are neither cooling us too much (for example: banana) nor heating as up too much (for example: lamb).

Das sagen die Experten
💬

What the experts are saying 💬

The Traditional Chinese Diet is one of the very few diet systems making use of the advantage of the thermic, so to speak: energetical, effect of food.

In terms of its thermic effect each food behaves differently in our body.

Whether we are consuming it in a cold state or heated up. Chili and hot spices are warming us up while hot peppermint tea is nevertheless cooling us down.

About Eastern and Western medicine

Worldwide there are actually only two medical systems able to recommend foods and meals that are realted to a certain type of physical constitution

The Traditional Chinese Medicine is able to do that aswell as the Ayurvedic Medicine. Even in the the Western naturopathy all people are lumped together.

kein Bohnenkaffee

mit allen fünf Elementen kochen

jeden Tag frisch kochen

keine Tiefkühlware

keine Mikrowelle

The basic rules I am following

An other important aspect that the Traditional Chinese Diet respects, is the salubriousness of foods and meals one achieves among other things by a certain type of preparation (for example steaming instead of searing something).

In this post I am only regarding generall tipps I am respecting principally:

2 hot meals a day

no pure coffee

cooking with all 5 elements

cooking fresh everyday

no frozen foods

no microwave

Traubensaftschorle.

There is nothing like a few rules.😏

Furthermore I am respecting the organic clock and have my breakfast between 09:00 and 11:00 o clock. I also almost never drink cold water, but warm water or alternatively a dring with a warmening effect like grape juice with water.

Das sind die besten Informationsquellen:
HIER musst du anfangen. 📑

The best
ressources:
You should start
HERE 📑

Of course, in order to beeing able to including all five elements, one needs to know, what element each food is assigned to.

It's actually possible to assign all conventional foods to the tastes respectively elements of the Traditional Chinese Medicine.

☯
But the posters and overviews I know are not containing all of then, but on webpages such as
www.therapeutika.ch

there are much more. Here I am researcheing every now and then to inform myself.

If you scroll down to the bottom of the mainsite of a certain food you may also find a suggestions for preparation I find very useful.

Simplify your cooking according to
the Traditional Chinese Diet.

For starters you may simply work with the list on the poster of Barbara Temelie:

http://barbaratemelie.de/buecher-2/
.It is included in her books, but you may also order it seperately.

I'm advising to wrap it in foil for it may disappears within all the kitchen haze and to pin it on a proper place on the wall afterwards.

Another tipp by Barbara Temelie states, that one should put a coloured dot that are representing the particular element on the dried herbs one stores in tins.</div
