THE DIARY GAME : 03/08/2020 : MY 3rd DIARY ENTRY

Dear Diary,

<div class="text-justify">Today is the Nikini Full Moon Poya Day. Every full moon, usually once a  month is a public holiday in Sri Lanka. Each of the full moons have its own name and they are days to commemorate key events in Buddhism. These full moon days are known as Poya. As we are buddhists we celebrate the Poya day according to our religious activities.<br><br>
Today in the morning I got up at 7.30 am. As I waking up it was started raining outside as yesterday. Just after waking up I put my phone into charge. Then I had my morning tea and refreshed my sleepy mood. </div><br>

<div class ="text-justify">Afer that I started to do my studies. Today I covered lectures on Neonatal care & pediatric basics of my online course. Then I had my breakfast. After having breakfast I swept and cleaned the home. ThenI  helped for some house hold works. After that I watched some TV. There was Poya Day programs in most of the channels today. </div><br>
At about 2 pm I had my lunch. It was red rice with dhal curry, ash plantain curry and sprats fry.<br><br>

<div class="text-justify">Today my sister was in home. Because she didn't go to work  as today is a holiday. So after having lunch we had a long conversation about many things. I had a good time with her. Then our selfi time. Ha haaa...</div><br>

<div class="text-justify">In the evening my cousin sister brought us some donga. It is one of must try Sri Lankan fruits because they can find in only some specific areas. Fortunately donga fruit can easily find here, in our home town and this is the donga season. </div><br>

<div class="text-justify">Then I spent some time with my phone. I log into my Steemit and checked for notifications and posts. I spent some time scrolling through my newsfeed and watching some videos. <br><br>
In the evening I cleaned my room. I did some changes in my room. I changed the way of keeping my bed, table and other items. After that I had a wash.<br><br>
 I had my dinner at about 7 pm. After having my dinner I  went out to watch the night sky. Moon was shining 
brightely as today is Nikini Full Moon Poya day. After spending some time out and I came into home. </div><br>

<div class="text-justify">Then I watched Kandy Esala Perahera on TV from 8.15 to 10.30 pm. Today is the final Randoli Perahera. I posted a <a href="https://steemit.com/hive-185836/@anusha96/the-most-beautiful-days-in-kandy-sri-lanka-or-kandy-esala-perahera">article</a> here about Kandy Esala Perahera a few days ago.<br><br>
Before go to the bed I was here to write my diary post. Now the time is 10.50 pm...</div><br>
That's the way my day went and that was just for today. Bye for now! <br><br>

There was lot of outdoor activities missed due to the heavy rainy condition yesterday. As a workers, we still wait to see holidays for do relaxation tasks. Also I couldn't went to the temple for worships. However you spent nice day in the house.
