Iran made its own fighter jet completely designed and built in Iran by Iranian hands, it's called Kowsar - Lightning and it's a multitasking plane.

Despite all the US, EU, Israeli and Gulfies attempts to destroy the Iranian economy through international sanctions and through direct sabotaging and assassinations, the Iranians continue to impress the world in advanced technologies and heavy industries.

This year alone we saw the Iranians fire precision ballistic missiles cross borders against the US's most fortified air bases in Iraq, shooting down the most advanced US drone, Som Kherdad air defense system which is more advanced than the Russian S300, Noor Military Satellite, and now the fighter jet is in the production process.

@arabisouri, What can I say?  Personally, I did not expect anything less from Iran.  With less resources than the U.S. they just put in the air a plane capable of holding it's own against a F-16 (of course, that is my opinion).  What I have always said, is that if the U.S. ever got into a ground war with Iran, the U.S. would get it's ass handed back to it.  There are 2 really awesome armies in the world, Switzerland is #one and #2 is probably a tie between Iran, the U.S. and 2 others I won't go into.  Suffice it to say, they are "Neutral" Countries and don't participate in war.
