<b>Football</b>, the most followed and practiced sport in the world that gives us joy and emotions, is often also at the center of controversy due to the violence of the most violent fringes of the fans.
I had a great passion for football, which has faded over time.
The cause of my cooling I wanted to represent it with this oil painting, where there is no need for explanations or comments.
I only wanted to highlight how a sport can go to a real war, which often produces wounded and victims.
When two opposing sides of ultras meet, a real war arises that makes us forget about the beautiful athletic gestures of our players and brings us back to a sense of profound disappointment.
I stopped following football as I did several years ago, and I now find myself documenting the violence and frustrations that violent supporters perpetuate with the most disparate actions: racist offenses and choirs, the destruction of street furniture, cars, shops and others. acts of vandalism that only entails additional costs for society.

Il Calcio, lo sport più seguito e praticato al mondo che ci regala gioie ed emozioni, spesso è anche al centro di polemiche per la violenza delle frange più violente della tifoseria.
Nutrivo una grande passione per il Calcio, che si è con il tempo affievolita.
La causa del mio raffreddamento ho voluta rappresentarla con questo quadro ad olio, dove non c'è alcun bisogno di spiegazioni o commenti.
Ho soltanto voluto evidenziare come da uno sport si possa passare ad una vera e propria guerra, che spesso produce feriti e vittime.
Quando due fazioni opposte di ultras si incontrano, scaturisce una violenza che ci fa dimenticare dei bellissimi gesti atletici dei nostri calciatori e ci riporta ad un senso di profonda delusione.
Ho smesso di seguire il Calcio come facevo diversi anni fa, e mi ritrovo adesso a documentare le violenze e frustrazioni che i  tifosi violenti perpetuano con le azioni più disparate: offese e cori razzisti, distruzione di oggetti di arredo urbano, automobili, negozi e altri atti di vandalismo che comportano solo ulteriori costi per la società.

Football became boring to me when people spend more time discussing the possible penalties, offsides (or whatever) than watching the game. It's like... 90 minutes to watch a game. An entire week to fight about it.

After a time, it gets old.

Quadro perfetto, sia dal punto di vista visivo, sia dal punto di vista descrittivo, ma tanti aspetti che hai ottimamente e precisamente evidenziato non dovrebbero avere nulla a che fare con il calcio, invece sono sempre ciclicamente alla ribalta, catturando maledettamente l'attenzione pubblica ed attirando sul mondo del calcio tanta disapprovazione e disgusto, come nel tuo specifico ed individuale caso, è un problema molto serio, quello della grande violenza radicata nel mondo del pallone, speriamo di poter per lo meno abbinare questo tristissimo fenomeno.

The truth is not my favorite sport, I do not really see it and I have never played it since it seems violent and stressful to follow. XD
