A Tired Soul's Endless Drifting - Poetry

<center> <h5> My bones are cracking. My muscles are sore  
It's still a long way back to the shore. 
All I see around is an ocean of blue
I wonder when my dreams will come true? </h5> </center>
 
<center> <h5>No matter how I paddle hard. 
The waves crush and toggle me off guard. 
It pulls me back further into sea. 
I wonder what will ever happen of me? </h5> </center>

<center> <h5>When darkness falls and the water is cold 
My face white as sheet all else untold 
My mind screams but no one could hear 
Everything is heavy I can only despair. </h5> </center>

<center> <h5>Beyond the unseen I imagine there is 
A torch that will shed light to all of these 
I hear faint voices of rescue from afar 
And that torch that beams like the littlest star. </h5> </center>

In this deep water I know I will drown. 
I cannot hold on much longer 
The waves are coming in so much harder. </h5> </center>

Can you imagine how ironic it may be? 
How can you see or feel "nothing" 
Do you think this is Life just joking?</h5> </center>

<center> <h5>The sun is up. It's another day 
I am exhausted to beat the come-what-may's 
The shore is far, I did all I can 
To get there but I don't know when. </h5> </center>

<center> <h5>Even so I know I will keep paddling 
Until all my muscles are torn and hurting 
Who knows if I'll ever make it to shore 
But I tried. That one thing is for sure. </h5> </center>
