I like the revision that you have done, I have never read Inhuman by John Russo but according to what you describe I find super interesting the way I fit the story, what I find too much is the marking of the communists and that subject is super trite. but as everything happens until they land in the field just where the evangelical family, is great, I imagine the relative who prophesied, saying the day has come.

Maybe if it took a long time at the beginning of the book was to totally mislead what was going to happen, it seems to me more like it gave a film treatment and that's why it took so long.
