How to set up our steemit account: putting profile and cover picture in it

<p>To start any endeavor is not easy. We all felt the same when we start in steemit with zero (0) knowledge on how to go about it. If noone will guide us how to do it then we will not be able to start the first step and we will be leading nowhere as if we are sailing in a sea without a pilot...leading to vast destruction. But with a guide then we can start it.</p>
<p>Way back then, after the approval of my account I am very excited to start writing but then I saw my account too idle just like this picture. I don't have pictures in it....but I ignore I just went straight to writing my post ..and there it did not earn..Lol! maybe because I am new or maybe my page is not presentable and noone will be interested..I am not saying it is the way we should feel but a good template will be more appealing to every reader..right?</p>
<p>So guys here's my simple tutorial on how to set up our account that is to put profile and cover picture. This is beneficial more on to newbies and to the trainer as well. Giving you a quick guide to put pictures in your account and a post to share to your trainee.</p>
<p>Before you can set up and update your account you must prepare the <em><strong>url of the pictures you want to use</strong></em>. This is how you will do it</p>

<p>Open your account and click <em><strong>post</strong></em> as shown in the picture with an arrow..</p>

<p>when you click post you will be able to see this box in your computer or even in your phone it works the same.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Click<em><strong> selecting them</strong></em> shown with an arrow</p>

<p>It will lead to your computer documents. You can then select a picture of your choice. then follow the arrow</p>
<p>1. click the picture you want</p>
<p>2. click <em><strong>open</strong></em></p>

<p>You will be directed back to your steemit account and it will upload the picture of your choice.</p>
<p>1. You will be able to see this long url...but don't use all that I copied a portion and it shows in arrow labeled with number 2.</p>
<p>2. I provided you with what you need to copy</p>
<p>you need to provide two (2) different url of your pictures for the cover and profile picture of your account</p>

<p>Set aside the url copy it in a word document or notepad or you can open another window for your steemit account. In your dashboard click <em><strong>settings</strong></em></p>

<p>1.<strong> CHOOSE YOUR LANGUAGE </strong>- for us English is best</p>
<p>2. <strong>PROFILE PICTURE URL</strong> - get back to your url previuosly uploaded then copy it and paste in the box provided</p>
<p>3. <strong>COVER IMAGE URL-</strong> this is where you put the url of the picture you intend to be your cover picture</p>

<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;username</p>
<p>5.<strong> ABOUT</strong>- this is your autobio...or anything you want &nbsp;to put in it</p>
<p>6. <strong>LOCATION</strong>- your place for me its Philippines</p>
<p>7. <strong>WEBSITE</strong>- you can put webpage where you want others to see you other than on steemit. For me I added my</p>
<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;facebook url.&nbsp;</p>
