Today, I will be joining the ongoing conversation about the significance of the STEEM blockchain in the cryptosphere and its value proposition.

I am of the opinion that the future of every coin lies in its value and the value solely depends on price actions and price actions depend on demand and supply. I happen to be a student of differential calculus during my freshman year in college and one of the rules of differentiating was the chain rule.
>we use this rule when an independent variable depends on another independent variable.

If I were to study the working of the crypto market, I would use that rule. We happen to be trading in a market where a lot of things depend on a lot of things. Hence, the need to put the most important things first and let those complementary ones follow.

We have seen the both the good and bad days of this ecosystem from poor curation events to a crash in prices. We have been confronted with several challenges and considering all that we’ve gone through, we can conclude that the only way out is by getting the word out there.

The ecosystem is now a caste system. People barely merit things anymore and to make it real big you’ve got to be a part of this community or know someone. The same guys remain at the top of the list and there’s need to restore the beauty of the system to what it was originally intended for.

I didn’t come to know steemit as another place where we’ve got to live by the rule of ‘the survival of the fittest’. But gradually I’m seeing that principle apply here as well. People don’t merit things anymore; we could point out a whole lot of reasons for that. Ranging from the complexities of establishing a decent interaction with others on this platform to the emergence of bidding bots that have now made some curators so lazy.

Good question, the question answers why we haven’t been seeing the various tags or categories work anymore. And I call out all promoters who have done promo-steem at various capacities to redefine the scope of their activities and change the approach they have been using.

Let’s promote STEEM above steemit; not emphasizing on a social application that “pays” users for creating contents. Instead, let’s make it clear that people get rewarded for the value they offer. You can also have value to offer those who offer value; so let’s stop dragging the system backwards by bringing in those who have no interest in STEEM as  a blockchain, but as a social application that pays them for posting whatever they wish.

 Let’s stop creating a sense of dependency at the point of promotion. Let’s make people involve themselves and put something into the system from the very beginning. It takes a lot of money to get a lot of money rolling. 


This is how we get to build communities outside the caste system already established on steemit. It’s a decentralized world, I can’t even tell if that’s a blessing or a curse, but a lot of purposes have been abused here. Too many are now gaming the system and we have to protect the ecosystem.


One major way I know is to promote steem above steemit. We’ve seen enough of promoting steemit, let newbies bring in what they have no matter how small, they’ll get to stay here. The greatest book ever written says ‘… where your treasure is, there will your heart also be …’. 

I have been promoting steemit, I have done that at various capacities and now I see the need for a change in approach of promoters and steem-ambassadors. Let’s do meetups for STEEM, steemit will be known as a by-product. Besides, that’s exactly what it is, steemit exists because of steem. This statement should make us understand how we ought to set our priorities.

## PHASE 1:

At this stage, we teach some minnows at our offline classroom to help attain self-sustenance. These minnows will then work with us as a team, reproducing other minnows. Currently, we have just wrapped up with Phase 1. And Phase 2 which is more demanding kicked off already. We have already recorded a track which you’ll find @theminnowschool. We are also in the process of recording a next track but the negotiation is still ongoing.

## PHASE 2:

This basically is the core of the vision is to raise steem-backed entrepreneurs of young people. The method through which we execute the absolute idea goes as follows;

* SKILL ACQUISITION PROJECTS: where various skills will be taught to foster the emergence of new entrepreneurs that thrive on voluntarism.
***
* THE MINNOW SCHOOL TALENT HUNT: we greatly hope to give minnows who are not really writers but have other gifts such as singing, painting, dancing, acting a platform to express themselves and get their creativity beyond their minds. Basically, we are giving these young people a voice and ultimately awaken the writer in them.

* THE MINNOW SCHOOL ART/MUSIC EXHIBITIONS: here talented young people will get to showcase their talents and the value they have to offer to the community. We will be sponsoring art projects and professional music careers will emerge with this.
