## Background
The hottest news for members of the Steem community, the Steemit Team has just announced the launch of the 2021 Steemit Awards through the #steemitblog account. This is the second annual Steemit awards, This is a celebration of the end of 2021 and appreciates the enthusiasm of active users in the Steem community.
As the information I quoted from the latest post on the @steemitblog account, there will be awards in three categories including: Best Author, Best Contributor to the Community and Best Community. The winners in each of these categories will get a very interesting positive vote from @steemcurator01 with the conditions set in the promotional post.
### Are You The Best Author?
For that I tried to take part in one of the categories determined by the Steemit Team, the category I chose was the "Best Author" category. This category is devoted to individuals who consistently produce the highest quality posts on Steemit. This is a great opportunity for Steemit users who are active and make it a routine to promote original content every day.
For this category, the posts shared so far can cover any subject and in any language. It depends on which Steem community you are active in, and the extent to which you contribute to promoting posts consistently. So far I've done my best to be the "Best Author", but for the quality of the post I can't judge myself and I have shared the "One day One post" which is the best in my opinion.
I have joined several Steem Communities by following the community policies and selecting the appropriate issue for each community in completing the post. For example, today I am writing a post about camp activities in the Scouts community, tomorrow I will write Steem marketing activities in the PromoSteem community, then the next day I will write business and entrepreneurial activities in the Steem Entrepreneurs community.
Likewise with several other communities, I have contributed and tried to maintain the consistency of "One day One post". I have followed the procedure of self-verification, Steem Power delegation, customizing commonly used languages and completing the #Club5050 program requirements. I have written several opinions, updated issues, shared information and Steemit experiences, daily activities, #Promo-Steem activities, created Steem marketing programs and projects, and participated in several contests in the Steem community.
### Support Steem Marketing
Besides being active as a writer in the Steem community, I am also actively promoting Steem online and offline. I have promoted content and shared my Steemit post links to several other social media such as Instragram, WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. Then I took an active role with several other Indonesian promoters, we really support the implementation of #Promo-Steem activities in Indonesia.
I attended various Steemit activities such as Meetups, Gatherings, Promo-Steem, Steemit media socialization, and Workshops held in Indonesia. In fact, I once formed a team "The Youth Steem" to promote Steemit in Indonesia, we reached out to Indonesian people and youth to join Steemit. We have successfully designed Steem marketing programs and projects with minimal funds. And the project has been supported by SK Promotion sponsorship to fund promotional activities and "Promotional T-Shirts", for that I am very grateful to the Steemit Team, the Steem community and all active Steemit users.
