It hit massive ATH's just about 2 weeks ago, smashing past the $12 mark in a short period of time.  

It's having a great month on the charts and we know most all coins have had a huge up and down last ~10 days:

Here is the ~65 Day view from HitBTC since CoinmarketCap.com charting is  still down (3 days or so now)

Look at the TIGHT pattern there at the end of the chart where we are now, that is a coil that could indicate some  big growth about to unleash.  

That is some really good consolidation patterning there on this extended week zoom.

1a// -- I call it that and have for awhile now because:

1 / No other developer other than @dan / @dantheman / Dan Larimer has THREE projects or coins in the Top 20/30 out of nearly 1400 coins every day for months on CoinMarketCap.com for anyone new reading this.

2/ Limited # of well known and trusted, long time top coders and devs like Dan or Vitalik Buterin around in the space and this is widely known.  Their Body of  Work speaks for them.

3/ Dan's consistent views of protecting and securing Life/Liberty/Property are evident in all the projects in #1 -- which again for new people -- are Steemit/Bitshares/EOS -- all of which he invented and are performing daily and consistently.

4/ We are early days in the wild west of crypto, people forget that --- who knows what is over valued, under valued, or any-valued at this point.

5/  These top level visionaries attract good talent around them to support them and their projects.  

-- Many people in the space have never run a business or even owned a home in many cases. -- It's all new, it is a new economy disrupting everything.

The negative weather in the crypto money market last week caused fear and panic in the bitcoin and subcontinental mosque. Especially new ones on the market were influenced by panic. This week, with increasing prices and a big surprise, EOS.

I have found it interesting that so much money has blown out of BTc again into other projects the last 10 days or so, very pronounced.

I think the market sees a lot of new tech, improvements and are sick of the BTC politics and stagnation to an extent.

I will never speak for him -- he or maybe @jamesc could chime in if they want but I know for a fact, he has been working on such things for a long time.

I believe some of that is built into EOS with his usual long term vision -- to go where no projects have gone before.

I can also say, last year, and I mean long ago.... he commented on one of my posts about governance and said something to the effect when he was just about to launch the phase 1 plans for EOS -- "guess there is a need for ______ governance and related structures on the blockchain"  

I honestly remember the basics and night he made that comment to me on my blog, it has always stuck with me, so I knew he was serious then.

I hope I get to have lunch with him  one day LOL.  

I've said that a few times now.

I own BTS and Steem (obviously) I need to get on EOS - I remember I checked their website a few weeks ago and noticed it said they're not accepting US residents?  Strange.  And then you have to register your wallet or something to their website?  Why are they adding these additional steps to make things complicated -__-
