#
Harvesting and Preservation

A. Harvest your plants when the plants are ready by cutting down all the plants or cutting off all the florets.

- There are many procedures for ensuring the right time for harvesting your plants. Basically, you can harvest when 50-75% of the pistil / white hair has changed to yellow/brown.

- Another way to find out is a trichome (also known as a crystal gland or resin) with a white / milk-like pattern or half white and half a kind of milk.

- Harvesting earlier should give you a taste of marijuana that is deeper or deeper into your head. Instead, harvest at the end, you want to give a heavier or more soothing taste of marijuana. You must experiment to create the best harvest time that suits your taste.

**B.** Trim your plants so that no leaves stick out from the bud. Leaves want to make your marijuana so much harder and don't have much THC, so you definitely don't want your final product to be like that. You can still use it to make hash, butter, or Green Dragon.

**C.** Hang the florets you cut in reverse in a cool, black place and allow it to dry until the florets are really brittle (not stretchy anymore) when you press them.

**D.** Put the florets in an airtight container and place them in a cool, black place for 2 weeks to one more month to "preserve." Open the container once a day to give ventilation and to justify if you have produced moisture from the container. Moisture is an enemy when you preserve and want to cause mold, so make sure your florets are dried properly before they are preserved.

**Tips**

• When plants grow large and start flowering, you may need to install a portion of the bonus CFL lights to illuminate plants from various sides. Basically, if you look at a black spot, give it light in that place to give the properties to your plants.

• There are many benefits of growing your marijuana in a room with no soil planting media that is a combination of Coconut Fiber (also known as coco coir) and pearlite (has good aeration and drainage). Not only does the media not attract attention to pests, but also because of the base of plants you can access oxygen and water in large quantities, your plants will grow more lightly and give greater results than if they develop in the soil. Plants also give greater results and develop more lightly when obtaining nutrients contained in the water (hydroponics) than if the plant is required to look for nutrients from the soil.

• If you look at just the tip of the leaf that starts to turn yellow or brown, so your plants display early signs of burning nutrients (very much nutrients). If this is intertwined, fertilize plants with nutrients with a half-solid dosage for a week or more after that, fertilize again gradually. Some types of marijuana can absorb a lot of nutrients, while certain other types are susceptible to being given very much nutrients. Plants can also display nutritionally burned signals if you do not protect the pH properly, so make sure to always protect your water pH !!

• In the majority of places, you can buy seeds online that you want to send to your home. However, it's up to you to make sure it's legal or not for you to plant marijuana in your place of residence. At this time, many places legalize Cannabis or legalize marijuana for medical purposes, so be sure to find out the laws that apply to your place of residence.

• Most new planters tend to harvest their plants very early because they are happy. Florets You want to reach close to 25% of their final dimensions in the last 2 weeks, so you must try to be patient and wait until the right time. The florets which are harvested very early also often have a very disturbing taste for some people. When the buds grow, they start producing chemicals that tend to be more soothing and cooler. Many people like to cut only part of their plants at one time and let the rest of the plant continue to grow. You can designate the facility to test the buds at different stages.
Things You Need

#
**Cannabis seeds or clones.**

• Great quality hydroponic nutrition. I recommend using Fox Farms Hydroponic Liquid Nutrient trio and exploring the instructions that are included exactly.

• Pot for planting your plants. I recommend using a 4- 19-liter pot depending on the dimensions of the developing zone and the size of the plants you want to raise. Remember that you are required to water plants more often when planted in small pots, but larger pots need more light.

• Coco coir (half of the part is mixed with half the pearlite part to get the best results) which both can be purchased cheaply online or in hydroponic agricultural stores. I am an individual using a hydroponic pot containing a coco coir combination that is part of Aurora's Roots Organics brand. This combination of growing media has been given bonus pearlite which costs less than $ 25 for a large bag.

• CFL lights (Compact Fluorescent Lights). You can buy a 42 watt CFL lamp at an electrical supply store in your city at a price of close to $ 10, and to start, you must have at least 2 42 watt lights for each plant.

• A decent lamp socket for all your lights (it costs less than $ 5 per socket in an electrical supply store in my city, generally accompanied by some types of hooks to attach your lights anywhere.

• A timer for turning lights on and off automatically whenever you want. You can buy it for a cheap price of $ 5 or you can buy a good digital timer for no more than $ 30. You are not required to have it at the time of early planting, but you want to need a timer when your plants start flowering (near one month).

• pH tester. You can look for it at a pet store in the aquarium, but even better if you buy testing equipment that is special for plant development (the cost is always at the base of $ 20) because of this equipment tests pH within a range which is more useful for development.
