Not that anyone REALLY cares.. but I just wanted to explain how I vote on comments.

Is it quality of the comment?

Ok, so it's established that crappy comments from desperate minnows doesn't work. I'm just letting my followers know that I'm pretty good with the 100% upvote button. The defining factor is not just the quality of comments. There are a few minnows that have been stalking my blog rather amazing. I should be upvoting them 100% but I dont. I usually do it 10-50%.

My number ###1 ###1 ###1 Reason for 100% upvote is HOW LONG you have known me on steemit for. Generally I'll visit that steemians blog because I CARE about them. Yup! I know the names of those who have supported my efforts. Who would have figured that. Support comes from endurance. So in about 3-5 months time; if those desperate minnows are still around and have stuck it out.. yup you guessed it.

So if you are now like I was a year ago, just sucking up.. it's cool. Keep doing it! I need your participation, and I want you to know that the easy rewards will be gradual and will increase with time. Don't forget, an investment in my blog is an investment in yourself. You will eventually start having me visit your blog and you will be getting votes twice!

This is the natural and GOOD way of making it on steemit. If you give up, then you get no rewards. It's as simple as that. You also get used to the never ending drama around payouts and reward pool rape etc.. just ignore it and focus on creating networks and connections. No more minnow journals for me. I'm all grown up now.

I agree that lousy, tiny replies are bad for the platform.  I do not think, though, that long-time followers with good content deserve all the upvotes.  I always look in the --*New* or *Introduce Yourself*-- tags for low personality score Steemians with  good content and give them my tiny upvote.  Not all my upvotes obviously, but minnows will lose interest in the community if no one pays attention to them.

Oh....my goodness I am almost 6 months late in meeting you a real friend in this great platform to find a whale (I think so) where i could make my steemit life enjoy with a purpose. Because I too always believe in GIVE RESPECT AND TAKE RESPECT or LOVE UNCONDITIONALLY.

But BETTER LATE THAN NEVER, so I am happy to meet you now and I will try my level best to travel with you in this journey no promise though as no one could be able to predict tomorrow or the lease there no notification button to know when our favourite people are posting new stuffs...

It should be about the relationship you nurture with that steemian rather than the vote.  There were steemians who were very good to me when I was scammed my SBD a few months ago.   Several steemians helped me on the computer secure and preserve my account.   Several others donated to my loss. I would never have had the help had I not nurtured those relationships and grown those trees (Your example).   There is another Steemian who has taught me a few things about html and blogging for which I am grateful.   Yes it is about the relationship not the amount of crypto they offer.
