--- ### Roadkill Two eyes like headlights suddenly appear, you try to swerve, but thump. Poor little fella, snuffed out and he didn't even see me coming. What about a funeral? Do his friends know of his passing? No, he is just left in the middle of the road, a warning for others. This poem is about roadkill.
