I'm going to pass on, leave this all behind and break free of this curse that is life. There's way too much weighing me down and nothing substantial to hope for.  I cut open a bottle of the freshest palm wine and drink it with goat meat pepper soup because there's nothing better to do; I've decided to savour the simple moments and get drunk on lifw; life being an endless torment filled with pain, suffering, regrets and of course these simple.moments. When you consider that the blind man hears but can't see what the deaf man can, we realise that life was designed to be imperfect, that it is indeed possible that the accuracy we strive to achieve is only a facade, a figment of an alternate reality that exists exclusively in the life after death. The truth is, we will never know if there's an other side and what lies in wait for those who cross, all we have is this crazy world and its madness. At least we have Nkwobi and palmy.
