# The Father's heart!
In Isaiah 62:4 God reveals how He feels about His children. He calls His people "Hephzibah" which means He **_delights_** in them! God actually **_enjoys_** His children! 
Our Father desires that we would **know** how much He loves us so that we would feel empowered to come **boldly** before His throne. In Christ, our declaration can and should be: "I am my beloveds and His desire is towards me." (Song of Songs 7:10) **His _desire_ is towards us!** He **_enjoys_** us! Wow! This is the revelation that the apostle John and Mary of Bethany had. And its for you too! Pray Ephesians 3:16-19 over yourself: That you would **know** (experience) the width and length and depth and height--know the love of Christ that passes knowledge. 

# Run **_towards_** God
When we sin God actually wants us to run **to** Him instead of **from Him.** The devil knows that if we feel condemnation and shame then we will keep drifting farther away. But you will know The Truth and The Truth will set you free! The amazing truth is that God actually enjoys His people, even when they sin. This is not a license to sin. Not the distorted grace message. But rather the truth that empowers us to draw near to God when we sin instead of run from Him. HE is the one who will clean us up. We are changed by spending time with Him. Transformation through beholding Him. He changes us. His **kindness** lead us to repentance. When we sin we repent, push delete, and then go **right back** into being a **_first class citizen_** in the Kingdom of God! :D No probation period. No second-rate status in the kingdom! Covered in the blood of Jesus. Enjoyed by God! We can have confidence before God that He delights in us at that very moment! :)

# God wakes us up

Luke 15:17-19 “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.”’

# The Father _runs_ after us!

Luke 15: 20-21 “And he arose and came to his father. But **_when he was still a great way off_**, his father **saw** him and had **compassion**, and **ran** and **fell** on his neck and **kissed** him. And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

# Adopted into royalty

Luke 15:22-24 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the **best robe** and put it on him, and put a **ring** on his hand and **sandals** on his feet. And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry.

# Christ is our righteousness
...**When he was still a great way off...** Notice the father did not wait until the son cleaned himself up. While we are still a long way off, our Father delights in us. He enjoys us! Simply because we are His children. The prodigals sin did not change how the father felt about his son. Our deeds, bad **or even good** do not determine God's emotions towards us. He loves us because we are His children. Not because of what we have done, bad **or good.** We are lovely before God because of what Christ has done for us. We receive **His** righteousness. 

# Prayer

Abba, Father, thank you that you delight in me! Thank you that your desire is towards me, Jesus! Give me a greater revelation of this truth! Let me see what you see and feel what you feel about me! Root me and ground me in Your love! Let me experience your love in a greater measure! Remind me of how you really see me!  Help me to run **to** you instead of **from** you! Thank you for your incredible love! I love you Father!
