Chelsea came out as FA Cup winners after beating Manchester United 1-0 in the final which took place at Wembley Stadium on Saturday (19/05/2018) night. The only goal in this fight occurred in the 22nd minute through Eden Hazard penalty kick. This is Chelsea's eighth FA Cup title throughout the club's history. The last time the Blues won this title is the 2011-2012 season. As for Man United, this season should end without a title for failing in the other three competitions.This game has been running with a moderate tempo since the kick-off whistle sounded. In the 21st minute, Chelsea awarded a penalty after Eden Hazard dropped Phil Jones in the 16th box. Hazard who took his own penalty, was able to trick David De Gea to change the score to 1-0. Manchester United are left behind, had threatened through Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez, only the second kick this player is still wide of Thibaut Courtois goalkeeper. Score 1-0 to Chelsea's advantage lasted until halftime. In the second half, Manchester United appeared to control the game with Chelsea locked defense since the early minutes of the second half. In the 63rd minute, Alexis Sanchez scored a goal but disallowed by referee Michael Oliver because it was considered in an offside position. Seen difficult to score a goal back, coach Jose Mourinho refreshes by replacing his two 73rd attacker. Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial came in to replace Jesse Lingard and Marchus Rashford.
