@sportsncoffee I don't think we all have to sit and wait for @berniesanders to reply to you. I think I can speak on behalf of the sports contest community in regards to this matter. I also asked you a question before Bernie even came onto this post which you have still failed to answer. Perhaps you didn't see it. 

The price that SBD's are trading at is irrelevant. Your contest states 50% of liquid rewards so you should pay 50% of liquid rewards.

I strongly disagree with your statement. This has a huge effect on the winners unless you expect them to immediately withdraw the SBD into another currency. That is in fact the only way it would have no effect. If they wanted to hold the SBD and the price comes back down to $1 value then they would've actually lost money.

I will speak for the community again when I say that I don't think the sympathy card is useful in this situation. You were paid SBD from Steemit and you were to pay the winners of the contest that SBD which was given to you. It doesn't matter how much extra you need to pay. You gambled with the SBD which belonged to other users and it backfired. 

It's time to pay the winners the remaining SBD that you owe. I think you could've used the $818.00 SBD that you transferred to Bittrex 5 days ago from your @steempickem account
