Sin in many years seemed to be invincible. People has been fighting it continuously but seem to be of no avail. Many has been dominated so much by the power of sin and the pleasures thereof. All this happens because of how we've highly regarded sin over us. The place men give to sin in their lives is  so enormous because of ignorant.

In John 1:29, the bible makes it clear that our sin has been taking away by the lamb of God -  "The next day John saw Jesus coming toward and said, Look! There is the lamb of God who takes away the world's sin. [TLB ]
Jesus Christ appeared to take away our sins. In the Garden of Eden when Adam disobeyed God, he received the spirit of the one he obeyed - the devil. The man now received the nature of the devil (sin) by virtue of the indwelling spirit of the devil. The man now became absolutely a sinner, thereby affecting all his generation.

When sin through disobedience became so rampant especially in the days of Israel's walk in the wilderness led to the introduction of animal sacrifices. These sacrifices were to take away the sin thus rendering the sin in them powerless but it couldn't. It only covered their sins for sometime resulting in the annual sacrifices by the high Priest.

But when Christ came, through His death on the cross has broken the powers of sin. He was like the Azazel on which the people lay their sins on and sent away to a solitary place . He has nailed ours sins on the cross and they cannot be seen anymore. He blotted away our sins by his blood . It is so amazing to understand that you are no more a sinner but a free man. The blood of the lamb is still speaking for. Never see yourself as a sinner because the power of sin has been taking away by the lamb of God.
