I've analysed payout data (which was kindly provided by @eroche) on every introduceyourself post made since April 1st. Posts from the last 7 days are excluded, however, as the final payout is still pending. 

There are two tables presented here. The first contains the top 30 payouts based on posts from *new users* (so I have stripped out posts by experienced users where they used the introduceyourself tag). 

The second table shows the top 30 including all users you tagged introduceyoursef since April 1st. A total of 3074 posts are included. I will post a second article covering other interesting stats around this such as the distribution of payouts and the trends such as the time of the day/day of the week which gives the highest average payout.   

So...here are the results:

You will see the top of the list is a post by illustrator @tonesquare. By clicking on the link, you will see why it sits at 1st position. For new users looking for inspiration on how to write a really brilliant and impacting post, review some or all of these.
