Brethren, behold the words that keeps me going even in turbulent and impossible situation. Often time we as Christians in the face pf trails and tribulations seem to forget what God's words has said concerning us. Should I start from our father of faith Abraham who despite God's assuring promises to him that he would have children that are as much as the sands of the sea shore, still had to jump in to accept the alternative but generational blunder alternative suggestion that his wife Sarah came up with.
>So Abram had sexual relations with Hagar, and she became pregnant. But when Hagar knew she was pregnant, she began to treat her mistress, Sarai, with ... Gen. 16: 4 NIV
When the Scripture assures us that if God be for us, what does it really mean? It's simple means that we are indefeatable, unshakable, immovable, and safe in His hands.
Let me give you a little pictorial about this Bible verse, perhaps it could help change your perception about yourself and God. My grand mother told me a story that once a boy was sent by his father to go cut two cubs of corn in a person's farm whom they share boundary with. And they boy went to the farm in the afternoon and picked a handful of them that it was noticeable. The father wondered why his son could not stick to picking just two curb of maize grains and the boy responded. "Daddy, don't worry, the man would not say a thing once I inform him that you sent me". What soever the boy meant by those statement is unknown to me.
However, my interest and concern in the story is that the boy went without fear to cut some corn at the man's farm. This means that the boy is confident that the owner of the farm will do nothing to him even when being caught.
Now as Christians, God would not send us to sin or steal in another man's farm, but He somehow wants us to trust in Him and the Omnipotent nature of His. We should boast to people about what He can do and His goodness in our lives. We should not belittle God by hyping the little problems that we have or the sickness that comes to shake our faith a bit. Remember as Peter forgot that the owner of the waves and the Master was in the boat when the storms arouse? We should not make such mistake too like Peter did.

We should rather make known His deeds among the nations as Elijah did when he called the prophets of Baal to a contest. We should also be assured like the three Hebrew Children that God would rescue us even as He delivered Daniel from the lion's den.
>16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. 17 If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. 18 But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.” Daniel 4:16-18
What a confidence displayed by these three young men? But come to think of it, what if God was not there for them? Hmmmmm, that would havde been the worst disaster. So brethren, you have to check your stands with God.
You could do me and yourself a great favour by examining your life whether your truly in the Lord's side.
