Running a family is not easy or simple, nor is there a manual for everything to be perfect, however, in the Bible God left us the foundations that would allow us to have a harmonious and prosperous family.
<br>

The main column for a family is marriage. Many people today prefer to live together without getting married. I don't know if in other countries it will be like that, but in Venezuela, young people who live together without getting married have become customary. Many say it is to meet first and then take the next step. But, marriage must be that first step!

### Family relationships begin with love.
Marriage brings together two very different and imperfect people. The husband and wife face these mutual imperfections better through love, the husband's love for his wife and the wife for her husband. Finally, this love is transmitted to the children, achieving family harmony. Without love, it would be difficult to support a family.
<br>

### Another of the bases to lead a good family is Forgiveness.
Both spouses should be ready to say: Sorry! Forgive me. Likewise, the other members of the family, since when there are children, parents should set an example and so in this way, everyone should be peacemakers.
<br>

### Repentance is another basis for a successful family.
Every personal imperfection is an opportunity to change or repent. Repentance, at any age, allows the necessary progress. It leads to a powerful change of heart, which leads to love God and neighbor, especially that person with whom one is married. 
<br>

### Very important, the Communication.
We know that there are differences of opinion between husband and wife, but the goal in marriage is never to win discussions, but to build a relationship of love and respect, in this way communication flows throughout the family, children will understand the importance of maintaining a Good communication and they will be open with their parents.
<br>

### The family is sanctified through the family altar.
Morning, afternoon and evening prayer, as well as the daily study of the word of God, in this way, children understand that God must always be present in our lives.
<br>

### The family is strengthened when quality time is spent.
Parents should share with their children, give the children real time and together. Many people leave their children in the hands of other people and do not give their children what they deserve, time with them. They think that giving them material things is enough, but what they do is try to fill a void that is filled only with real and quality dedication.
<br>

### Parents should teach the gospel to their children as it is a responsibility before God.
<br>

>>7 And you will repeat them to your children, and you will talk about them being at home, and walking along the road, and at bedtime, and when you get up.
<br>

## As I mentioned in other publications, the family is the basis of society and if we have healthy families, we will have a better society every day.
