Over the last few days after my longest yet hiatus on steem blockchain I have rather found a gripping control on my addiction with steem. Not that steem addiction is any ways wrong or should be discouraged. However, getting a slight breath of relief from the addiction has only enhanced my experience with the blockchain. It has allowed me to look at steem with an open perspective where my main goal is not limited to getting my *steem fix*.

The most troubling dilemma I face at this very second is if I should or should not, yet again, repeat what I have repeated for at least 5 posts in a row pertaining to my view, opinionand thoughts about ***newsteem***. On a second thought, why don't we skip the redundancy, right? 

One thing that I mentioned that has stood the trials of time is the simple concept of letting time to work it's magic and letting it formulate our final thoughts, or at the least a better learned thought, about the Charles Foxtrot hardfork. Definitely, by the range of expertly written posts pertaining to the changes has led me to believe that steemians are now manifesting a better structured opinion based on which the next changes or updates will be made.

From the time of the announcement a very bold and loud disagreement had been made by the community about the 50/50 EiP and the  separate downvote pool wasn't too far away from the ruckus either. Although, I stand corrected about the 50/50 in a very tiny extent, I still would prefer it as not. However, I still amnot a fan of the free DVs...and I am glad more opinions are now being voiced. 

As expected, by my ultra superior maximus expert delusional self, DVs - free or not, is something not everyone will want to fidget with. I made this statement and forever will  stand with it that there is a huge discrepancy of variable sorts between the ones who engage in dv and who do not. This also supports the concept that flag wars will always be dirty, a niche game, and something that could potentially being more harm than good do the blockchain if treated with as little importance as it is being given now. This, I will discuss in more details in a future not-so-impulsive post.

All this being said, I have grown pretty indifferent to the now newborn dv culture. It seems like they can and are been thrown around for no apparent reason...*who'd expect that amirite*. Multiple accounts are being made to abuse the system and further more it has never been as mindless, at least as much as I know. The daunting aura it leaves behind on a content maker can be physically felt lingering in the presence of the OP and it is starting to resemble the same feeling as your socks rolling down your feet inside your shoe. 

The best takeaway from this is that I now not as squimish to a flag as I was before. I'm very excited to see how the community reacts to this once their eyes are not blood red, and once everyone has accumulated enough pointers from the wonderful and extensive posts on this topic. I hope that this creeping culture will not explode out of control and it, like most, also formulates into a beautiful and enjoyable part of the steem experience.
