[New Products] 의류산업용 스마트 줄자

공업용 및 헬스케어용 스마트 줄자를 제작해온 베이글랩스(대표: 박수홍)가 제작한 의류산업용 제 3세대 스마트 줄자 ALT(BAGEL-003). 

이전 스마트 줄자들이 전용 애플리케이션을 통해 측정 데이터가 스마트기기에 전달되는 방식이었던 반면, ALT는 블루투스 키보드처럼 인식되어 노트북, 스마트폰 등의 기기(Window 8, Android 4.3, IOS 5, MmacOS 10.10 이상 운영체제)에 연결하면 앱·프로그램의 제약 없이 활용할 수 있는 것이 장점이다. 

일반 줄자를 사용해 옷 한 벌의 사이즈를 측정하고 기록한 뒤, 소프트웨어 데이터베이스에 입력하는 데에는 평균 5분 이상의 시간이 소요된다. 한편 ALT는 눈금을 읽고 펜을 들 필요 없이 내장된 버튼 클릭 한번으로 측정치를 입력할 수 있어, 의류 측정 시간을 평균 60% 단축시킬 수 있다.

또한 사람 손이 덜 가는 측정 방식으로 사이즈 오기를 줄일 수 있다. 블루투스를 통해 별도의 소프트웨어 없이 기기와 호환되며 최대 160cm까지 측정할 수 있다. 오차 범위는 0.5mm으로, 기계식 센서를 통해 높은 정확도를 가지고 있다. 내장된 3개의 버튼은 각각 전송(선택된 필드에 측정치 전속 후 다음 필드로 이동, Enter 또는 Tab 기능), 건너뛰기(측정치 전송 없이 다음 필드로 이동), 되돌리기(마지막 액션 취소)로 구성되어 있다. 입력이 수행되면 ALT의 진동 피드백을 통해 모니터를 보지 않고도 측정치가 전송되었음을 알 수 있다. 소모품인 섬유 유리 테이프와 스프링 부품은 교체식으로 사용자가 직접 교체할 수 있다. 

완충 시 10시간 가량 사용 가능(400mAh 배터리)하며, Micro 5핀 케이블로 2~3시간 내 다시 충전할 수 있다.
