The explosive growth in the popularity of mining crypto-currencies is one of the strongest trends of the recent years in the industry, and it does not seem to be slowing down. For this purpose, predominantly flow computing is used with highly parallel GPUs. But there are specialized equipment, the demand for which is constantly growing.

For example, the other day the Chinese company Bitmain, engaged in the development and sale of such solutions, has released the Antminer A3 model, designed to accelerate the development of crypto-currencies using the Blake (2b) hashing algorithm. On its basis, the SiaCoin crypto currency developed since 2015 or SIA has been built.
