[Womplay](https://womplay.io?ref=XVAQ2X6) is a quite new project where you can **get paid in EOS for playing** PC and (mainly) smartphone **games**. That sound's too good to be true, right? I tested the site for a while now and here's my review.

## What's Womplay?

It's a site that is **rewarding you for installing & playing games**. The idea behind it is quite simple: You install an app through their link (must be a new user) and then play until you reach certain goals. You'll get "***Wombucks***" as a reward which can be used to participate in the **weekly reward pool** - the more Wombucks you contribute the more EOS you will get. Wombucks can be earned by game time, mini games and other activities as well. There are also challenges where you can win even more EOS.

The company behind this project is the *Spielworks GmbH*, which is based in Germany. Founded in 2018, the corporation realized a seven-digit financing round under the leadership of FinLab EOS VC Fund and Volksbank Mittweida eG in 2019. In addition to the gaming platform Wombat, it also operates the collection game Chain Clash. So the responsible company seems **pretty legit** & I made only good experiences with them so far.

## Is is worth my precious time?

That depends. Will you earn a lot on this site? Probably not. If you play their games a lot you might earn a few bucks a week but probably not more than that. At least you can rely on the payment as the site is legit and paid me before. But you shouldn't have the highest expectations - you can't get rich by playing mobile games (unfortunately 😒).

But **if you enjoy playing games** on your phone and you want to get a few EOS in the meantime it is a **great site for you to check out**. They have a couple of pretty fun supported games you can play & if you would've played them anyways, why not get a bit crypto for "free"? I know a lot of people won't be the biggest fans of Womplay (there are others sites where you can "earn" more crypto) but as a gaming enthusiast you should definitely check it out!
