Hello dear steemians, it's the beginning of a new week and I hope each and everyone had a great weekend. As for me, it was awesome spending time with family together. Today is ghost town in my city and we are supposed to be indoors throughout.
In the other regions of the country, weekly activities starts on Mondays but in the English speaking regions of Cameroon, work resumes on Tuesday. This has caused most institutions to use weekends as work days. This is hectic as weekends are supposed to be used to relax, have fun and visit relatives. The only resting day now is Monday ghost town with no movement around the city.
It's some sort of confinement which I think has equally been helpful to reduce the number of Covid-19 cases within this regions. When I got up from bed today, my daughter asked me to make pancakes for her. As I went into the kitchen to prepare it, my husband's friend called via my phone that he is coming for both of them to trek to the office. I had to increase the quantity of pancakes I intended to prepare.

My mixture included flour, milk, sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, salt, and water. Immidiately I mixed it,I had to fry unlike other snacks I had to allow for some time for the yeast to rise. The reason why I love pancakes over any other. I could not hesitate to eat some. My daughter equally could not hesitate.

By the time I was done frying, the plate was empty. I had to go at the Roadside to empty my trash. While on the road, I realized that some people were moving along the streets. I had to dump the trash and left back home. The situation at the Roadside wasn't friendly enough for me to delay.

I rushed back home, took my bath, and bath the kids. We napped for almost two hours. It was lunch time, I heated the food. We ate and watched a movie. Before I could noticed, it was 6:30pm. I followed news on the national TV station and call it a day. Thanks for reading my diary post.
