"House on Liebert Street"

Someone's castle on a side street in Taos with a backdrop of distant mountains.

I had some friends in Chicago (LaGrange, actually) who would go around drawing people's houses then knock on their doors to see if they'd like to buy the drawing.  Quite a good idea, really.  Some people would buy them, and if they didn't, my friends got in some drawing practice.

People are proud of their homes, their "castles."  What looks like an ordinary house from the street is someone's prized possession.

Here I saw the beauty of the sunlight on the house surrounded by trees and flowers.  BTW, I didn't approach them to buy the painting.  😀
