Can you imagine that country supposedly founded on liberty, founded by immigrants, founded by people fleeing tyrants (as the story goes), that such a country can become so undemocratic and intolerant?  As the saying goes, absolute power corrupts absolutely.  As the world’s superpower (or maybe super fiat scammer) we in the U.S. are all guilty of arrogance and entitlement.  Day after day this idiotic controversy about building a wall.  Can you believe that us, in the 3rd millennium, are having a debate about building a wall?   What kind of pre-school level conversation is that?  As sophisticated as people can be about philosophy, society, relationships, physics, art science… we are talking about building something out of bricks and concrete to physically separate people... Berlin all over again ... 13th century China?  Unfortunately our democratic process too often comes down to the least common denominator, the most moronic of discussions.  As usual, there are too many ignorant masses.  We have only yet begun to understand our destiny as humanity, only just begun to shake off some of the primordial slime, only just begun the reach for the stars.  It’s pathetic our sorry state of macho, tribal, infantile affairs.
