We all have people that we love in our lives. People we love may include our relatives, friends and neighbours. There is no way we will sin against God if we truly love Him. Again, it will be very hard to sin against our neighbours or others if we live by love. And he answering said, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself. Luke 10:27 God wants us to love him first before any other person. God is first and must always be in the first place in our lives. We cannot love our families more than God neither can we love our neithers more than God. Whoever loves a child, a wife, a husband, a father or a mother more than God is not worthy of Him. He that loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Matthew 10:37 Morevover, our love for our neighbours must not exceed our love for ourself. We are commanded to love our neighbours like we love ourself and not love them more than ourself. Your love is defective or incomplete if it only for yourself and not for others as well and vice versa. Some people claim to love others so much and will commit suicide when they break their heart or disappoint them and that is not love. Commiting suicide because of others is rather foolishness and not love. Doing something that will go a long way to put your own body in harm's way is not love. You will be conscious about your actions and live wisely if you love your own body and soul. It is always about loving God first then yourself and your neighbour.
