I'll have to go check that article & give it a read through. Only 5 factual errors...a massive improvement from the norm. Soon it'll be 100% every word will be a factual error. 
  I am very very glad to hear an admittence of the Serian lies. I'll be sharing that fact far & wide to the folks who fell for the fear mongering. I hope it'll shake & wake one or two more of our brothers & sisters.

It is nice to hear of the demise and pending doom of another mainstream media outlet.  I have to admit that I didn't know or care about the financial troubles of Newsweek.  I've never read Newsweek, and had no desire to start.  

Perhaps there has been a realization that regurgitating the same Marketing, Government PR spin, Thinktank and lobby group talking points as the rest of the mainstream media isn't profitable, as readers leave in droves for the alt media.  

This could be an opportunity for Newsweek to find a new audience by publishing well researched and truthful articles (that don't require 5 retractions and corrections).  

Or you could be right, and the article about Mattis admitting that there was no evidence that the Syrian government used poison gas on it's own people was an accident, that slipped though the  diminishing ranks of editors.

The list of executives that have stepped down this last 12 months is apparently insanely long. Something is up, it seems.  From Papa John's to ESPN to Google's parent company and on. Some coincidence, surely, but the list is looong.

Seven years ago, Jane Harman (former Dem congresswoman) took over her deceased husband's seat on the Newsweek board, ensuring a surviving link between the government and their newsroom.

Great Video once again James. With respect to Newsweek pushing out the Mattis truth nugget (Mattis admitting no information on Syria using chem weapons), this is really just a complicating factor as I see it(and always is whenever the MSM accidentally publishes the truth). To use this singular report (btw, RT reported on this same truth nug a week or so ago) as a way to get my MSM-reading friends to open their eyes as to what is actually going on in the world, it sort of validates Newsweek as a curator of truth, whilst simultaneously calling it bullshit for the rest of its reporting. So, my kind-hearted, MSM-reading friend asks, "Ok, so you admit, the MSM does in fact publish the truth!" And I say, "Well, no, not as a function of their business model, just by accident this time." 

So in the end, my MSM-friend is left confused, wondering what the truth is and how to go about getting some of its yummy essence....is this the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, just sowing doubt? Don't get me wrong, doubt can be a powerful tool to discredit MSM legitimacy broadly, however, it is always nice to show bad motives, collusion or corruption to really drive the point of illegitimacy home.

Just my rambling thoughts at the moment. You know what....ahh, screw it, I'll take a crumbling bastion of MSM stepping all over its own toes as it flails toward the dustbin of history....at least I can get some chuckles out of it ;)

James great work your message is loud and clear but short of newsweek proclaiming christ is the lord. I hope they burn to the ground. They have some of the most atrocious reporting save NYT. This is the true correction needed in media and pointing out one glimmering ray of light from this dungheap hardly justifies their existence. Maybe a litte harsh but let them reap what they have sowed.
