In this 5-minute video, I try to answer the following:

- How long does it take for glycogen to be depleted from liver and/or muscle with IF? 
- In other words how long would one need to fast to accomplish this vs. HIIT?

Why do I say 'try to answer'? Well, because there's no easy way to do it and I refrain from making inaccurate and unspecific statements. 

If you don't want to watch the video, the short response is that it can take anywhere between 16 to 32+ hours for this to happen, but there are many variables that can influence it. And glycogen is rarely at a '0', because even during chronic carbohydrate restriction and prolonged fasting, there is a certain level of glycogen available.
