Now since the unveiling of the Neutral Splinter that can play with all splinters which I discussed yesterday, (shameless plug-[link](https://steemit.com/steemmonsters/@cryptkeeper17/the-plot-thickens-for-manna-strategies-on-steemmonsters) ) and the manna situation that makes each Splinter more flexible it also adds some interesting abilities that can be doubled up that were not possible before the Neutrals were released.  

First of all traveling in order, if you were to employ a double sneak in the Fire splinter, you could use a Kobold Miner (2 manna cost) plus adding another three manna card from the Neutral splinter the Elven Cutthroat (3 manna), you can use a double sneak approach with your deck.  Basically as we have seen sneak work is that they will very often attack the monster furthest in the back which is a bit of a strategic upheaval in the game because many people will be placing their weaker maybe even ranged or magic cards in the back of their lineup giving you a shot at hitting them with multiple attacks.  If the other team also employs their sneak in the back, the quicker sneak will go first, which Elven Cutthroat is a weaker attacker but a very quick sneak reaching a speed of up to 8 fully maxed out.  It is slightly different way to focus and attack on the back of the formation while perhaps your tank is in the first spot blasting away at what is likely the other team's tank in the first spot as well, and leaving open the possibility of protecting your middle cards from the sneak attack as well having two cards attacking the one--or forbid the other team having a counter double sneak, then it's all up for grabs and the other cards played will likely decide the match.

This same method can be used in all splinters as all of them have a sneak, so you could legitimately use Elven Cutthroat in that role with any splinter/summoner.  The other sneaks that are also commons include the following:  Kobold Miner, Sabre Shark, Goblin Sorcerer (only sneak magic attack rather than melee), Feral Spirit, Skeleton Assassin, and of course the Neutral's Elven Cutthroat.  Another tip with sneaks is the faster one attacks first, so ideally speed is a major premium with these, so take a look where they stack up to one another some of them actually lose a speed point when being maxed out and some gain speed, but the loss of speed also results in a greater attack ability, and the "Slow" attribute will slow these down based how the cards are played and while the fighters that are still in the fight bring your speed down by one.  One of many genius elements to this simple yet multi-faceted game is there is virtually always a counter to every strength, and that definitely can apply to the sneak or double sneak strategy.

But the sneak strategy is not the only doubled up option that resulted from the creation of the Neutral Splinter.  The option to have double "snipe" battlers come in to play as well.  The snipe ability hits the first ranged/magic warrior on the other team.  If there is no range/magic warrior on the other team (basically all melee and zero support cards) then the cards are essentially lost as attackers but carry on with any other abilities.  The Neutral that can be added to your deck in a double snipe option is the Centaur, a four manna common.  But not every splinter features a card that has a snipe ability.  The Life (White) Splinter does not feature a single card with snipe, so with the addition of the Centaur that team now has a snipe possibility.  Another interesting snipe opportunity is using the Spirit of the Forest as a snipe as it has other buffs that help your team but has snipe and of course could also be paired with the neutral snipe.  In the other splinters you have the Pirate Captain and the Twisted Jester (which is a rare and perhaps the second most powerful snipe to the Spirit of the Forest in pure snipe attack ability).

Overall snipe is a very high risk high reward option for building your team.  Being diversified can have its rewards but shooting down your opponents ranged attackers early can spell some serious trouble for your opponent out the gate for sure or really at any point in the match especially if they have additional benefits that are support abilities for the team.  Best of luck with both potential strategies these are just two nuances of game play that will lead to the guessing game of what is coming at you, how do you beat it and/or how you defense the attack of whatever kind is coming.
