I won't lie... I was absolutely rapt when I saw this... I've had a position in about 10 cryptocurrencies since I found the space in October... but I've hardly cared about any of them since I found Steem.  I'm absolutely invested in this platform, emotionally more than financially, and it's so super exciting to see that independent reviewers agree and that the market has responded to that.

I just check out steem price. Now it's price is $6.50+😍. Hope It's price can go up to $10 end of the February.

Eos and steem both are my core holdings and rated in top 5. Slightly disappoonted with IOTA. Cant win them all. Steem new base is around 4 usd so happy days are here in steem land.

As of January 24, 2018, the value of this coin, which is trading at around $ 4.42, is up by 9% in the same week. However, once you have done a thorough research to get this coin, investing will be the right move. Certainly a promising crypto currency.

Love it. I also think the fundamentals (I'm admittedly more old-school in my investing approach) are ripe for a long, upward run. The power of the social effect is one of the greatest differentiator of STEEM and could really propel it. Also once people realize this is the only social network where we get to reward each other (as opposed to advertisers), we'll really see the user base spike. 

All the more reason for us to load up on STEEM, power up, and spread the love in the meantime!

We are lucky that we adopt steem too early.  Slowly- slowly people are understanding the value of steem. The sudden rise in price of steem may be the result of weiss report........Thanks for analysis and all the graphs ...it  built confidence in us ..

Its just beginning i'm definitely sure that in next few reports they will  put steem into A grade. I really believe in charts and analysis.It will remain bullish.

Definitely I agree with you. Steem of 3 surge life was good. After that, the chances of having a big splinter diminished. After that, protecting the ascending state. It will continue to rise steadily. I do not expect a ripple. But if there is a ripple, Stee will no longer fall under $ 5. I think that this recession phase will be between $ 5 and $ 8.

In short, Steem is well suited to invest as always. My personal preference is steemdir. Steem is confident. I trust steem @cryptographic

Considering Steem's value has dropped by as much as $ 2.8 in the past week. then it is an excellent source of income for investors. I think it will increase its value even further after being awarded the "B" rank in the final evaluation. it would not be a surprise for me to be in the short span of 10-11 or even 13-14. I expect to be 20-30 in the long walks.@cryptographic

@cryptographic I totally agree with you, fundamental and TA look very good for Steem. Also with the latest coverage things are looking even better.

What I would like to add to the discussion is the fact that we, as a community should actively work towards making the platforms built on Steem a better place. I think we should raise awareness about how we should behave, so the community can evolve. I have written about one of the issues that annoys lot's of people . Hey @cryptographic, STEEM looks good today as well as BTS. EOS did a great performance a bit earlier. But considering that BTC is still in a downtrend, do you believe these good technical and fundamental news will have long term affect on the price of STEEM?

Yep. This is a clearly undervalued coin. And right now those of us on the platform are still early adopters. We are in a position to profit massively when mass adoption happens.

I don't know how someone could be bearish about Steem.

Hi @cryptographic ! Steem is one of the 5 five cryptocurrencies valued by Weiss Ratings, but is the cryptocurrency generating more value, and with more transactions and more people in the world. People drive economies (product and services), and more people and transactions take place on Steem, as blocktivity shows. 

Steem is the most generating value blockchain today, and will skeyrocket when SMTs are launched. 

Thanks for this great post, were technical analysis and rating analysis by an outsider get together to also show that steem is currently going upside!
And in the long run it will skyrocket!

With the recent growth in active users and total signups combined with the Weiss ratings, STEEM is really building up some positive momentum to start mooning! 

BTS has been the laggard since I started tracking positions on 12/15. It's the only one that hasn't moved since:

Wait until you see my article about how STEEM cannot fail...that it is impossible...there is nothing to stop it.

I have it all mapped out in my head and the reasoning behind it....one thing that people like to do is look at blockchain like they do businesses...like comparing this to MySpace...there is a fundamental difference that is missed.

I am trying to decide when we hit the point of no return....Is it when SMTs are out?  That is for certain but it might be before that.  HF20?  That is a game changer too....I think the manual sign up, if it continued is a failure long term so it would have to be after that.

I keep powering up...no reason not to...STEEM will only go higher, much higher.

Really great write up @cryptographic :) A balanced as well as diversified Portfolio is definitely important and quite easy to be done by everyone. But just like you mention as well in the end it´s the emotions that might make you take exactly those actions that you shouldn´t...

Controlling your emotions on such a volatile market is especially tricky as you never know how high or low it´ll go, so that FOMO & FUD might mislead you into selling low and buying high instead.

I would therefore always recommend to keep a certain percentage of your Portolio invested in the long term and just use a portion of it for short term gambles. That way you minimize your risks while still having a chance on high profits :)

Great suggestions. The diversify and reinvest is sound for the passive investor.

To me, it all comes down to research. If people would research what they are into, they would fare better.

At present, my main token holdings are BTC, ETH, LTC, BTS, STEEM, and another coin that is being introduced shortly. The later three are projects I believe in and follow very closely.

Recently, I took some off the table in both BTC and ETH after nice run ups. I dropped my BTC holding about 1/3 and my ETH 25%. In terms of percentage of portfolio, BTC is no longer my largest holding, it dropped to 3rd and moving towards 4th. Ironically, the run up in other tokens helped to rebalance my portfolio (along with additional capital).

As much of a loudmouth blowhole that he is, one thing that I like which Cramer said, if you cant spend at least an hour a week on each stock you own, you shouldnt own them.

I believe this with coins..if you cant spend an hour a week studying what is going on with each of your holdings, do not own them. Things can change very rapidly.

Last year June, I started my journey on this platform it took me 2-3 months to get an idea how this platform functioning. After that I had a chance to learn about Graphene blockchain technology and I found your articles! 
Before that, I also went through @stan's articles. For me sometimes I didn't get a clear idea what he is talking about! He talked about **Speed, Low Fee and Block times of BTS** but I didn't get them very well at that time. One day I heard about STEEM also built top of that Graphene blockchain technology. STEEM, BTS, EOS, GOLOS and few others are build top of this blockchain framework.

EOS took the lead first! Now at the top 10 of marketcap. Then BTS started, but amazingly STEEM took the lead! As you said, **STRONG  BULL TREND** yeah, I believe the same. I am not a genius market analysis like you do! But I feel STEEM is on a strong up trend. And the market price can't be dropped once again. Probably this time we are #marchto10

I am TheGuruAsia, but you are the Guru of mine! I went through a lot of market analysis and signal providers in STEEMIT platform! But no one else, predicting long term market analysis like you do!

What I noticed from STEEM current market price it's bounce between 6.0 - 6.6 USD range. I could see 6.6 USD level at the moment is giving high resistance on STEEM price and probably STEEM will break this resistance level soon and I wish to see two figure value infront of this amazing crypto currency in near future!

If we look at the technical parameters then the following points must be noted :-

(1) The bull run has started from 10K satoshi level and it is now trading in 3rd wave of 1-2-3-4-5 Elliot waves, that means third wave will target around 80K to 90K satoshi and then 4th wave will be consolidation phase and again the 5th wave will take the bull run to 165K satoshi which will be roughly 25 usd per steem and this is probable in first half od 2018.

(2) 125K satoshi is also the 23.6 % retracement of the large last run on weekly chart.

(3) Alexa rank is improving and also so many positive developments are going on which is going to add to its strong fundamentals.

(4) I will not be surprised if by the end of 2019/20 we see a steem value of 100 usd or more per steem.

In the daily chart, STEEM price is not only trading above 50DMA, but also trading above 100 DMA and 200 DMA also which is creating a stong bull base for steem.

And most important thing is that in the daily chart the MA cross over is just about to happen and once that happens it would be a signal for significant upward movement for steem.

2018 is going to be special year for STEEM, BTS and EOS.

Yes it is possible, if ETH can run from 10 usd to 1100 usd in just 1.25 year then why not STEEM, and after all it has been a proven platform which serves huge numbers of potential bloggers and I am sure it create revolution in coming days.
