We will be heading for my dialysis session at around past 7:30 this morning because my schedule is at around 9:00 AM. It is because that my mother always wants us to go at an earlier time so I can get hooked earlier as well if there would be a slot for me to get treated.

I do not want to eat for now so that I could get an enhanced feeling of hunger when I eat at my dialysis session, it is the only time for me to enjoy my meal unlike in my regular days which is just dishearteningly so poor and that is almost everyday. Well part of the blame is the meals that my mother prepares as there is no variety.

But I plan to eat as much as I can while I am hooked up because my appetite is excellent after I felt the cleaning effect of dialysis. Dialysis takes away toxins from the body but not entirely but along with the toxins are the sugars and protein compounds that the body needs as well which is the reason why I feel hungry and it needs to be replaced.

Some patients just eats salty snacks or junk foods, they are the ones that have high blood pressure still after treatment because of the high sodium content of the things that they eat. But I myself is just eating regular meals of rice and fried meat although quite salty too but it has a better nutritional value than junk foods.

I can never eat junk foods because I do not have the taste for it even in my younger years. It is because that my mother had trained my taste buds already when I was just developing my Kidney condition making me eat basically "no salt" diet and with lots of water to drink. So it made me not to prefer salty foods until now.
