Lately I was having an itchy skin problem and I suspect that it was the dry and cold weather that is now brewing as the cold winds from the North touches my province where I live and these subtle changes makes my skin react. The reaction is not good because it dries up and it goes itchy.

Sometimes I could not help but scratch a little but it just makes a momentary relief and it goes itchy again until I ask my mother to go and get me some hot water compress.

The hot water inside the food-grade plastic bag is inserted in a small thin cloth to make the whole of the hot compress. I then dab it in the parts that are itchy. It goes super itchy and then it feels pleasurable as if you are scratching it and then the itchiness goes away.

I just rolled my eyes for the relief that it brings immediately until I feel the pain and I take it off to be applied again in another part. After a few passes I am finally relived and I am good for another few hours.

It is not really good for me to be exposed to cold weather as it dries my already dried skin because of my body's chemical imbalances but at least I have a solution for it as long as my parents are around to go and assist me in having thta hot compress.
